10 Mile Run
If you are a runner your new years resolutions more than likely includes something about running more. When better to start achieving that goal than on January 1?
The Hangover Classic 10 mile run makes that possible. This established race gives everybody the chance to start the year off right. Bringing friends together both old and new to tell stories and enjoy the weather (what ever that may be on Jan. 1). Some come to win, some run in their tuxes from the night before and a few even make the race live up to its name.
The Hangover Classic provides a long sleeved T-shirt, drawings and refreshments for the runners --indoors at American Turners after race completion. There are mile markers at every mile and a digital clock at the finish line. Trophies are received by the top 3 men and women winners. Awards are presented to age groups of 14 and under, 15-19, and 5 year increments through 75 and over. Age group awards are 3 deep - winners must be present to claim awards. NO AWARDS ARE MAILED.
The 2010 race will be chip timed.
Early Entry Fee is $30 prior to Dec 15. Late Fee is $40 after Dec 15 and on race day. Early registered runners are guaranteed a race shirt. Late registrants receive shirts if available on race day on a first come basis. NO REFUNDS.

Packet Pick Up will be offered at Pacers and Racers on December 29th and 30th from 10am to 7pm
This Race Course follows last year's course- through Butchertown and down River Road. The course is considered fast and flat. Use Caution as this is Not a closed course! Traffic volunteers are stationed throughout the course and assistance from law enforcement is provided. The course will be marked with arrows painted on the pavement and signs along the roadside. The Race Starts at American Turner's, 3125 Upper River Road, off I-71, Exit 2, at Zorn Ave at 10 am, January 1, 2010.
Race Day check-in and late registration is from 8:00-9:30am in the upper level of American Turner's building. Please arrive early, as the race starts promptly at 10am.
